St. Petersburg is where the practice started and where most of our appointments still happen. The office is on Central Avenue in the Grand Central district, with parking behind the building and a bus stop at the corner. People walk in, and we like that.
The city's mix matters for this work. There are long-time residents turning 65 who have been with the same physician group for twenty years and will not change it. There are retirees who arrived from the Midwest and split the year between two states. There are makers, designers and contractors along Central who invoice rather than draw a salary. Those three groups need three different conversations, and we have all of them here most weeks.
